About
I am a sound engineer specialising in studio and live music recording, editing, and mixing. I hold a degree in Music Technology from London Met University (UK) and I am currently based in the Czech Republic.
As the leading engineer I work on records and Czech Radio recordings with prominent musicians from various genres (Dan Bárta, Štěpánka Balcarová, Tomáš Liška, Jiří Levíček, Vít Křišťan, Luboš Soukup, Josef Špaček, and many more) as well as major Czech orchestras (SOČR, Czech Philharmonic, PKF).
My work has received various Czech and international awards. The albums Štěstí and Mystérium času (tracks 12-17) won Anděl Awards 2022 in the Jazz and Classical music categories respectively. The album Martinů, Krása & Kalabis: Harpsichord Concertos received the German Opus Klassik Concerto Recording of the Year 2023 award. Additionally, I collaborated on the film score Ayisha, which won the Best Background Score Award at the International Film Festival 2023 in Oman.
Alongside music production, I have extensive experience in producing spoken word recordings (drama, journalism, etc.), including podcasts and audiobooks. I have won three Audiobook of the Year Awards and was nominated in the Best Sound Design category for the audiobook Tma.
Thanks to this diverse and multi-genre experience, I can offer quality services in both music and spoken word production. Utilising my passion for sound technology and aesthetics, I treat each project with the utmost care to meet both clients' and listeners’ highest expectations.
